HOLIDAYS IN MALLORCA

Baptized by writers and painters as "The island of calm", the largest of the Balearic Islands is a haven of tranquility in whose hideouts you can feel the time pausing. And among nature, art and serenity, hides its most precious secret: Formentor.

A paradise that arose from the hunch of one man: Adam Diehl. In 1929, this visionary imagined an oasis in the middle of nature, and he saw, among the lush vegetation of the cape of Formentor, the perfect location for a resort of the highest luxury. And so it began construction from the sea itself, and the rest is history.

In 1929 Formentor belonged to the family of the poet Miquel Costa i Llobera. In his poem, El Pi de Formentor, Costa already mentioned teaching the children of this island to love the landscape as a great metaphor and symbol of our land.
